Brooklyn, New York, Day 39

Snowy Day 

It was very cold and snowy today, so we rested. Although it was so cold outside, the boys went to Sony Wonder Technology to play Play Station. The girls rested and went shopping for their friends. They also learned how to cook through Jen's cooking class and cooked doenjang jjigae (bean paste vegetable stew), cha jang pasta (black bean paste and vegetables with fusilli) and fried mushrooms with onions. We had a good day!!! ~^*^~

June, Mark & Tony : We were in the Sony Wonder Technology.

June : This is Play Station.

The game's name is Assassin's Creed. 

Tony : Here is Sony Wonder Technology.

This game is God of War.

I finished the entire game in one hour.

I played this game during my first time here, 

but I like it very much.

Mark : I played Ghost Hunter.

It`s a shooting game.

I like games very much, because they're fun.

  Girls : We cooked black bean paste and vegetables with fusilli. 

The fusilli name is Sophia. kkk

Sophia is eating Sophia.Phaha...

 

Girls : We cooked fried mushrooms with onions.

 

Girls : We did it. yay!!!

Girls: We cooked doenjang jjigae (bean paste vegetable stew).

 Girls : We cooked with a pot.

 Girls : We enjoyed cooking.

 June : I bought pop corn for emergency.

 Jenny : I have enough rice. lol *^0^*

Ticket to MoMA

We went to see a film screening at one of MoMA's theaters.

The movie was strange and tragic. 

Our group is standing in front of MoMA.

Sally & Jenny : We took a picture in front of ten pictures.

Sally & Jenny : We found this picture. 

It is in our school's art book.

Sally & Jenny : There are many cans.

They look like the same, but if you see them more closely

then you can know that they are different things!

We(Sophia, Erica and Lyn) are standing in front of 

"The Birth of the World," done by Joan Miró.

We are standing in front of Andy Warhol's Rorschach.

Girls : Our background is a big lake picture.

It takes up the entire wall.

Girls : In the picture a boy is playing the piano.

Girls: "To be with Art is all we ask."

Sally : There are so many leaves, but they are not real.

Sally : I thing they are made by real food products.

Boys: We are standing in front of Jasper Johns's Flag.

We(Mark, June and Tony) are in the architecture exhibit.

I likes these designs.

I visited the contemporary galleries and
 saw many different works of art.

The artwork behind me looks like confetti.

It looks like a hammock.

The sculptures behind me look smooth and geometrical.

Sally : Today we went to The Museum of Modern Art.

It has 8 floors.

Sally : This picture name is "The False Mirror".

Rene Magritte painted it.

 I like his picture, because his is impractical.

Sally: Can you believe it is made by paper?

It looks like a photo.

Sally: This sculpture is made of broken dishes,

but it looks beautiful.

June : Look! This is a beautiful sky!

This is a painting done by Van Gogh.

June : Look! This is a motorcycle.

I want to have it.

Tony : Here is MoMA(The MUSEUM OF MODERN ART)

Tony : MoMA has 8 floors.

There are 2 basement floors and 6 upper floors.

 Sophia: This picture is Paris station.

I want to go there. kikiki...

 Sophia: We went to the MoMA design store.

I feel good and nice.

 Sophia: I like these foods,

so I want to eat them.

 Sophia: The Museum of Modern Art has Korean.

I feel good. Wow~

Sophia: I feel nice when I look at this painting.

It looks comfortable.
