Washington D.C., Day 44 & 45

June : Wow! This is a red airplane.
I want it.
June : Wow! This is an artificial satellite.
I want to make it.

 Mark : This airplane looks awesome.
I want to take it and ride it.

Mark : This airplane looks futuristic.
It looks like a space ship.


Sally : It is the "Moon Rock".
If you rub it then you'll be lucky.

Sally : I want to get on the spaceship.


Jenny : Austronauts are going to space.
I want to go, too!


These are space food sticks.


Sally : Erica is going to eat space food.
It tastes like chocolate.


Sally : Lyn is eating space food, too.
But the taste is different because its peanut butter flavored.


Jenny : Astronauts washes here.
I think washing in space is hard.


Jenny : It is a spacesuit.
I want wear it and go to space!

We are in front of President Abraham Lincoln's statue.

Washington Monument


The Washington Monument was built in honor of George Washington.





Korean War Veterans Memorial





U.S. Capitol

The U.S. Capitol is almost invisible in the snow.

We were glad to see the U.S. Capitol on a clear and sunny day.

The U.S. Capitol houses the Senate and the House of Representatives, 
which make up the legislative branch of the U.S. government.

This ship is the U.S.S. Constellation, 
the last floating ship from the Civil War.
